Hello!, I’m Danielle Sheffler, the author of this pet lovers’ Weblog.

After months of extremely tedious work and anticipation, my first day of blogging has arrived!

It’s hard to explain what a dream come true this is. All my life I have surrounded myself with animals and learned a lot from them. I am thrilled about the opportunity, and I’ve worked hard  to be able to share my knowledge and experience with you!

Since this is my first blog entry, I’d like to go over a little bit of information about myself, my pets, and the advice I will be sharing with you (my audience) in the future!

I am an avid animal lover. All types of animals are enjoyable to me, although my two favorites are dogs and horses. The last pet I had was a Black Lab/Newfoundland mix. She was the absolute sweetest dog in the entire world. Throughout my life, I have owned cats, dogs (Black Lab/Newfoundland, purebred Newfoundland, Irish Setter), birds, fish, hamsters, gerbils, and even a guinea pig.

I have always had a soft spot in my heart for all animals and I spent quite a bit of time volunteering at my local humane society. The hardest part for me was walking out of there empty-handed every day I worked!
