Awesome Animal Tricks!
I know there are many of you out there who don’t own a dog or a cat….so this post is for you! I have included in this post videos of animals (other than dogs and cats) performing various tricks. Some of these videos are really amazing and I hope you enjoy them!
First, I would like to talk for a little bit about an interesting television segment on the “David Letterman” late night talk show. For 20 years he has had the segment “Stupid Pet Tricks” on his show and I really enjoy watching them. Sometimes (as you might have guessed) the tricks are pretty stupid but, there are times when the animals on there do some really cool things! That particular segment has become so popular, Dave even added “Stupid Human Tricks”.
Ok, now on to the videos!! This first one shows a parakeet playing dead, playing basketball, playing golf…..you have to see it to believe it!!
This next video shows rabbits performing different tricks, shooting basketball, playing dead, and much more! I couldn’t believe how effortlessly the rabbits showed off their talents, I had never before seen rabbits doing any of these tricks!
Have you ever seen a turtle doing tricks?? Me neither……check out the video below and watch this turtle go! It is very interesting!!
I have a great appreciation for pet owners who take the time (and have the patience) to train their animals. It puts a smile on people’s faces and is something we are able to show off and be proud of. I would like to encourage each of you to teach your pets something new, leave me a comment about your trick and how you taught it.
It’s strange, animals have no way of speaking to us, but they do communicate with us in their own ways. Think about how extraordinary it is for a pet to hear our words and be able to act on them! Lots and lots of practice goes into training, and if you stop to think about it, training is a continual process for our pets, but your hard work pays off in the end! You get a well-behaved animal who has a few tricks up his sleeve!
Thanks for reading! As always your participation in comments and discussions are encouraged and greatly appreciated!!
