Pets In A Wedding?
Have you ever been to a wedding where the family pet was part of the wedding party? Did the groom dogs wear a tuxedo shirt? How were they incorporated into the actual wedding ceremony?
I have been to one wedding where the dog was included in the wedding party. It has been some time ago, but I believe the dog was the ring bearer. Just about the only thing I can remember about that wedding is that the dog came down the aisle at one point.
Would you ever include your pets in your wedding? I know there are going to be differing view points on this topic, but I am interested to see both sides of it. I personally would not include my dog – she is way too hyper and she has too much trouble focusing. Plus I think it is an event I would want to keep with my family and friends. Don’t get me wrong….I love my dog as much as anyone, but I just think my wedding day would be just fine without her, and I don’t really think she would understand what was going on.

I love the idea myself.. however.. that said.. I don’t know if it’s very practical.. Be a pretty quick ring-bearer portion as I’m sure my hounds would run up the isle!
Hmm.. funny picture in my head of Hunter and Bella (my 2 beagles) walking down the isle.. ha ha ha..

A lot of people consider their pets to be part of the family and even a best friend. It makes perfect sense for a well behaved pet to be part of the big day.
