How to Lose Weight

July 26th, 2009 by dsheffler

As I have said before, one of the most effective ways to get in shape is to walk - it’s a great workout (especially if you are out of shape and not used to working out) - it is also a good way to form a strong bond with your dog.  If you have a breed of dog that enjoys jogging, it’s even better!  Some people bike with their dogs, and we have all see Cesar Millan rollerblading many times with leashed dogs.

There are other things you can do if you are planning on walking - try adding ankle or wrist weights to increase the amount of resistance on your muscles.  Most breeds of dog need at least one walk per day, so get into a routine and stick with it!  Maggie gets one walk in the morning and one in the evening, we go at least 20 minutes each time and that’s usually enough to wear her out!

Other things people turn to when dieting and working out are diet pills.  If you are thinking about incorporating these into your workout and diet, you need to make sure you are putting something worthwhile into your body.  Something that will not harm you in any way.  Try reading diet pill reviews to get an idea of which one you should choose.
