An Ideal Living Situation
My Beagle Maggie is very hyper! Last night she was so funny to watch – all she did was run around the living room barking at her toys and chewing on pretty much everything in her path. We have a pretty large yard for our area (our backyard is one acre), and Maggie has been off-leash out there a few times. She does get easily distracted though, so it is hard to trust her all the time off-leash.
I know if she saw a rabbit, she would be off and running! I am just glad she has a stable home, a nice yard to play in and that she is surrounded by people who love her. It breaks my heart to think of the many lonely days she spent at animal control sleeping on a cold floor with no one to love her and cuddle with her.
I just wanted to let everyone know that no matter what your current living situation is (apartment, condo, or even manufactured homes), you can find a dog that matches your living arrangements and lifestyle. Just be sure you have plenty of time, patience, and love to give to your new addition!
