Do You Support Testing on Animals?

There are many varying opinions on this subject, and I for one am not afraid to voice my opinion.  I am completely against testing on animals.  I have seen the PETA videos (and I understand some are extreme examples), but I cannot see any reason why we as compassionate human beings need to put animals through unnecessary suffering for our own benefit.

A recent study of ephedra was conducted in dogs and the study confirmed that ephedrine supplements are deadly.  But this comes at the expense of many dogs’ lives.  Is it really worth it?  What do you think?  You are encouraged to leave your comments below (all comments will be posted regardless of your viewpoint, they may be edited for profanity and grammar before being approved).
