Weight Loss Update!

I am pleased to announce that I have lost a grand total of 10 pounds!  The best thing about that for me is that I did it all without the use of any weight loss pills.  I have been cutting back on my portions and taking Maggie for at least 2 walks each day.

Having a dog is a great way to encourage your weight loss – and to get your dog on a good, solid routine.  Maggie knows when it’s time to walk, and she barks and gets excited – which encourages me to get outside and exercise!

No matter what size dog you have, she’ll need at least one walk per day – once you get your dog in the habit of going on a walk at the same time, she’ll be the one reminding you!

    I too am on a weight loss crusade with the help of my dogs. We have four dogs and I try to start off my day every day walking them (with help)Good for me and it makes them very happy!! You are right, they know when it is walk time and get very disappointed if it looks like I am not going-sometimes it does guilt me in to going for even a short walk!!
