Maggie and Her Bed
As you can probably tell from that picture – Maggie LOVES her bed! We recently took her to a friend’s house to play with their dog, and we made sure to bring Maggie’s bed along with us. After a hard day of playing – Maggie settled right down into her bed and took a nice nap.
When we were first looking at adopting dogs, we knew what size dog we wanted, so it was easy to pick out a pet bed that fit the size dog we were looking for. A few days ago, I was walking down that aisle at Wal-Mart and I saw just how many different varieties of pet beds there were! There are some that look like over-sized pillows, others that have sides on them, and still others that are more like stuffed throw rugs. There are many different kinds, and it is important to pick something that will be appropriate for the size dog you have. It needs to be big enough where your dog can fit into it comfortably, but if you have a puppy, make sure it’s one she can grow into over time!
Your dog’s bed can be it’s favorite place – when it’s storming outside, Maggie curls right up in her bed and it seems to calm her down. Buying a bed for Maggie was one of the best investments we made, and I know she enjoys having her own space!
