Taking Care of Your Pet
When people are sick, they go to the doctor, and when they have acne, they use the best acne treatments, but what about when your pet gets sick? The best thing to do when your pet is feeling bad or not acting normal is place a call to your vet’s office. If the problem occurs after hours, chances are you have an animal hospital close to you that is open 24 hours - place a call to them.
A month or so ago, Maggie stepped on a bee and was stung, she limped around for a while, and continued to lick the area - she was whining and I could tell she was in pain. Rather than loading her up and taking her to the vet’s office (and spending money on an office visit), I called and asked them what I should do for her. They were incredibly helpful, and gave me useful tips on what to do for her to cut down on the pain, and what symptoms to look for (in case she is allergic). Calling your vet is always the best bet - it’s so much better than looking information up online.
Thanks for reading! We’ll bark at you later!
