Animal Careers

When I was younger, I really wanted to become a veterinarian - I had volunteered at my local Humane Society and really enjoyed my time there, so I knew I wanted to do something with my life that would also benefit animals.  Circumstances beyond my control prevented me from becoming a veterinarian, but I’d like to think that by writing on this blog it is in some small way helping animals.

If you want to get into a career related to animals, I suggest you start by volunteering at your local shelter, or somewhere that would fit in closely with what you would be doing at your job.  Volunteering is also a good way to have great looking resumes in the future.
