Smoking is Bad For Your Pets Too!

December 30th, 2009 by dsheffler

Everyone knows that smoking causes cancer, and that there are deadly chemicals in the secondhand smoke expelled by smokers.  But did you know that smoking can also have an effect on the health of your pet?  Our pets breathe in the same air we do, and if that air is contaminated with nasty chemicals, your pets are breathing that in which can cause health problems for them too.

If you are a smoker, the best thing you can do is smoke away from your pet.  Not only are the fumes horrible, but your pet could be burned by the ashes.  Try your best to quit smoking altogether - then you won’t have to worry about health problems.  If you are unable to quit smoking, how about trying an electronic cigarette?  It can give you the same sensation as smoking, but without the mess!

Thanks for reading!  We’ll bark at you later!
