Spa Risks to Pets
Although most of us are freezing cold, there are some people who are able to enjoy the outdoors with the spa or hot tub, but those people need to be aware of certain dangers associated with them. First you need to make sure you firmly secure the cover after you are done using it. If the cover is not on tightly, your cat or dog could fall inside trapping them in the spa.
Second, always make sure your spa filters are clean and free of dog or cat hair. Also make sure you do not leave the spa chemicals sitting in an area where your pet can ingest any of this. The chemicals can make your pets very sick.
