Do You Have Pet Allergies?

I have grown up with both cats and dogs, and I have never shown any signs of being allergic to either one.  I have always been more of a dog person, so I knew that’s all I really needed to worry about anyways.  My boyfriend is pretty allergic to cats.  It’s hard for him to find allergy relief when he is around them - his eyes get red and itchy, and his nose get stuffed up (many of you have the same symptoms).

Are there any ways to make cats more pleasant for allergy sufferers?  I know it isn’t the cat hair that actually causes the irritation, it’s the dander on the cat’s skin - please leave your comments below and help allergy sufferers!
