Vitamins For Your Pets

January 16th, 2010 by dsheffler

Many people take vitamins to keep themselves healthy, but there are vitamins on the market for pets.  As always, be sure to ask your veterinarian if your pet is in need of additional supplements, and they can recommend specific ones for your pet.  There are vitamins for bone health, immune system, and even vitamins for a healthy weight.  Be sure to do your research beforehand on specific brands of pet vitamins before choosing one, and like I said earlier, your vet can recommend an approved brand for you.

Vets may even prescribe these on their own depending on the situation your pet is in.  It is becoming more and more common for people to be reaching for vitamins in order to prevent health problems in the future.  Just like humans, pets can have vitamin deficiency which can lead to health problems.  Ask your vet if vitamin supplements are right for your pet.

Thanks for reading!  We’ll bark at you later!
