Foreclosure Rates Are Dropping But Homeless Pets Still Need Our Help!

February 1st, 2010 by dsheffler

It seems that the housing market is trying to make it’s way back to where it was, and the number of foreclosures have been steadily decreasing.  But homeless pets still need our help to find loving homes.  Many families are still having to make that difficult choice to leave their beloved pet behind so they can move into something more affordable.

Foreclosures are still part of what we are dealing with now, and we will continue to deal with a surplus of animals at local shelters until the housing crisis is completely over.   It also seems as though rates for home insurance have also been going down, which could be a good thing for prospective home buyers.  The $8,000 tax credit for first time homebuyers has also helped the housing market being to bounce back.

Please remember your local animal shelters, this past year has been rough for everyone.  Try to donate what you can to help give animals a better 2010!

Thanks for reading!  We’ll bark at you later!
