Foreclosures Still Affecting Pets
The foreclosure crisis is still having a devastating affect on our nation’s pets. Many people are still having trouble staying in their homes and find themselves in an impossible situation. For most families their only option is to give their beloved pets up to a shelter. When selecting which shelter you are going to drop your pet off at, it is important to consider what type of shelter they are. Do they euthanize animals that aren’t adopted? Do they have a foster care program that allows your pet quality time with an actual family?
While it may seem like a lot to take in at once, the most important thing for you and your family to remember is that giving your pet the best shot at adoption is the only way to go.
