Chew On This…
When we first got Maggie, she loved to chew on anything and everything within her reach. She found an old Mopar performance parts catalogue and had lots of fun biting off chunks of it. She also found a few paperback books and got a great thrill out of chewing on the binding and the back cover.
I think when we got her, she was still in her puppy stage, so she was wanting to chew on everything she could since her teeth were probably still bothering her a little bit. Now she has really settled down and we are able to trust her around more things than we were in the past. She has a basketful of toys that are hers to destroy and she is content to chew on them rather than on things we’d like her to leave alone!
