Keep Your Pets Safe!
There are certain items you should never leave laying around your house because they are not safe at all for your pets. The first would be chocolate – which could be deadly for your dog. There are also certain plants that should not be within your pets reach as they may make your pet ill. Any prescription medications should also be kept out of reach due to the harmful effects they may have on your pet.
Other common household items that you need to make sure your pet cannot get to include electrical cords and wires, a box cutter, any sharp or small objects, and anything else that might be lethal to your pet. Before you get a new pet, I highly recommend pet-proofing your house. This means getting on their level and making sure your home is the safest environment possible.
