Help Calm Your Dog
I recently saw a news story on our local station here in St. Louis regarding treadmills and how helpful they can be in calming your dog. This is especially helpful on days where your dog cannot get the proper amount of exercise outside. Perhaps it is too cold outside or maybe the weather is not entirely cooperative. Kennelwood Village currently has a training program for dogs teaching them how to walk properly on a treadmill. If your dog or puppy is overly active inside and has a hard time settling down for the evening, having their energy drained by walking on a treadmill can be incredibly helpful for that too!
Have you trained your dog to walk on a treadmill? Send in your pictures of your pup walking the walk and they could be featured on my blog! How did you get them to walk on the treadmill? Leave your comments below!
Thanks for reading! We’ll bark at you later!

I laughed at first at the thought of a dog on a treadmill but then I realized what a great idea it is for when its not possible to properly exercise your dog. Good idea for elderly people who may find it difficult to get out for long walks.
