Pets can also get blackheads on their skin. The most common place for them to get blackheads, is on their chin which can be a result of stress, oil build up, or even irritation from their food dishes. In order to get rid of blackheads your pet may start scratching their skin excessively which can only make the irritation more severe. When you start to see your pet scratching it’s chin, take a look at what they are scratching and if you see blackheads, make an appointment to see your vet and try to keep your pet from scratching as much as you can.
It might be hard to keep them from scratching the irritation, so if you have a cone collar you can use this to keep them away from the irritated area.
