Summer Vacations With Your Pet

If you are anything like me, you view your pet as part of the family so it’s only natural that you would want to take your furry friend along with you on your summer vacation.  If you choose to do this you have to do your research ahead of time and find out what hotels/resorts allow pets and what kinds of rules and fees will apply if you choose to bring him along.

There are many Disney World hotels that will allow your pet to be a guest, but is this really an appropriate place to bring your pet along with you?  Probably not.  You will spend most of your day at the theme parks and your pet will have to stay cooped up in the hotel room, or even in the hotel kennel until you return.

There are many places that are incredibly pet-friendly, and just a simple search online will tell you the best getaways for your and your animal companion.  Going to the beach, or staying in a cabin in the woods would be a great vacation for you and your pet.  Just make sure you read up on any local laws - make sure you are familiar with the leash laws and what shots your pet needs before the trip!
